DVAA Offering Four Art Grants
For Non-Profit Groups, Individual Artists, and Collaborations between Teachers and Artists
Delaware Valley Arts Alliance in Narrowsburg is offering 4 grants for cultural programs in 2013 and 2014, funded by the Decentralization Program at the New York State Council on the Arts.
1. Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants fund non-profit groups performing or presenting arts programs such as concerts, arts publications, exhibits, literary programs, lectures, theater performances, film screenings, workshops, and more. For events happening November 2013 - March 2014. Deadline: Friday, November 15, 2013.
2. Decentralization Grants fund non-profit groups performing or presenting arts programs such as concerts, arts publications, exhibits, literary programs, lectures, theater performances, film screenings, workshops, and more. For events in 2014. Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2013.
3. Artists in the Community Grant for a highly accomplished artist in creating new and significant work involving community participation in the creative process. For projects in 2014. Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2013.
4. Arts Partners in Education Grants fund partnerships between teachers at a grade-level and artists or cultural organizations. Partnerships between schools and teaching artists or cultural organizations from Sullivan County are eligible. For partnerships in 2014. Deadline: Friday, December 6, 2013.
All potential applicants are strongly urged to attend a free seminar that includes guidance on program and budget development, information on the program’s priorities, review criteria and contractual obligations. Pre-registration is appreciated. Seminars have been scheduled as follows.
