Sullivan County Arts &
Heritage Grants



Twelve Sullivan County non-profit cultural organizations will receive $13,750 in Sullivan County Arts & Heritage Grants (SCAHG) for cultural programming throughout 2010. Allocated by the Sullivan County Legislators, the funding is administered by the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance.

Granted organizations are

Catskill Art Society for multi-disciplinary programming
Delaware Valley Chamber Orchestra for a local composers series
Delaware Valley Opera for the 24th annual summer season
Delaware Youth Center for a musical performance workshop for kids
Liberty Free Theatre for a staging of “Happy Days” by Samuel Beckett
North American Cultural Laboratory for a performance series
Roscoe Free Library for a fine arts workshop series
St. Andrew’s Mission for a free music concert hosted by Chamber Music at St. Andrews
Triad Dance Ensemble for “Crazy Good Luck” songs and dances
Tusten Historical Society for Narrowsburg Historic Days
Weekend of Chamber Music for a summer music festival
Western Sullivan Public Library for “Picturing America” programming.
