“Valley Artists Holiday Sale” at Signature Gifts
November 20 December 22 , 2010
Artists and artisans are invited to submit work for the Valley Artists Holiday Sale which will be held from Saturday, November 20 Wednesday, December 22 , 2010 at the Delaware Arts Center’s Signature Gifts shop. During those weeks, Signature Gifts doubles its size (by expanding in to the Loft Gallery) and doubles its inventory for the holiday season.
Painters and photographers who have participated in the past may submit two framed works and artisans may submit up to 12 pieces (jewelry, woodwork, pottery, etc.). Delivery dates are Tuesday Saturday, October 26 30 from 10 a.m. 4 p.m. at Signature Gifts, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY.
Consignees who have not previously participated should send images of their work by email listing the size, medium, and selling price to info@ArtsAllianceSite.org before October 26. Please put “Holiday Sale” in the subject line.
All consignees should fill out an inventory form and price their items.

Signature Gifts, the shop of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, sells high quality crafts and artwork including jewelry, photography, pottery, and textiles, as well as books by local authors, CDs by local musicians, and DVDs by local video artists.

Hours: Tuesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Signature Gifts Grand Opening

Senator John Bonacic was on hand for the ribbon cutting for Signature Gifts at the Delaware Arts Center on Main Street in Narrowsburg, NY. The Senator has secured significant capital funds to our building projects, said Delaware Valley Arts Alliance Executive Director Elaine Giguere, so were pleased that he came to view our progress.
Signature Gifts will feature the work of area artists, artisans and writers for sale on a year-round basis and will support the efforts of the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance (DVAA), the Arts Council for Sullivan County. On hand for the ribbon cutting were (front row l. to r.) John Westergreen, President of the Sullivan Co. Chamber of Commerce; Gloria Krause, DVAA Board Member; Elaine Giguere, Executive Director; Terry Hess, S.C. Chamber; Senator John Bonacic; and Town of Tusten Supervisor Ben Johnson. In the second row are Elizabeth Kubenik, DVAA Board President; and Board members Lynn Skolnick and Debra Rovitz.
